5. This text file contols the merging of latam data. It is stored in the user's latam directory (c:\latam). It is via this file that a user’s time lines are transferred to the accounts department.
6. The office merge path is f:\merges. Create a directory (in this example) called
f:\merges\ws20.
7. Change mergenod.dat (eg with notepad.exe) to point to correct merge path for the user.

Backup
8. The office back up directory is
n: . In this example create a backup directory in n: called
n:\ws20.
9. Create a backup bat file for the new computer in p:\cmds called Backws20.bat, with the following entry
“call p:\cmds\backws ws20”
